Kick-off Meeting - 2025-05-12

At the kick-off meeting in Frankfurt, the project partners came together for the first time to mark the start of the joint academy project. The project is carried out by the Heidelberg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (HAdW) together with the Academy of Sciences and Literature | Mainz (AdWL). The goal is to make historical financial and corporate sources accessible using state-of-the-art digital methods.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Leibniz Institute for Financial Research SAFE, the Institute for Banking and Financial History (IBF), the University of Mannheim, the University Library of Mannheim, the WHU – Otto Beisheim School of Management and Goethe University Frankfurt. The focus was on getting to know each other, organizational matters and planning the next steps for the further course of the project.
