Prof. Dr. Uwe Walz
Professor of Economics, in particular Industrial Economics, at Goethe University Frankfurt.
Uwe Walz received his PhD in 1991 from the University of Tübingen and his habilitation in 1995 from the University of Mannheim, both in Economics. He was a professor at the University of Bochum (1995–1997) and held a chair at the University of Tübingen (1997–2002) before accepting the call to Goethe University Frankfurt in 2002.
His main research interests include private equity, start-up and growth financing, and the economics of innovation.
Uwe Walz heads the working site in Frankfurt.

Dr. Sabine Gehrlein
Director of the University Library Mannheim.
Sabine Gehrlein studied Art History and German Studies at the universities of Heidelberg, Valencia (Spain) and Augsburg, and was awarded her PhD in 2006. This was followed by postgraduate studies in Library and Information Science at Humboldt University Berlin (M.A. LIS). She worked as a Scientific Librarian at the university libraries in Heidelberg and Freiburg. She has been Director of Mannheim University Library since 2017.
Sabine Gehrlein heads the working site in Mannheim.
Prof. Dr. Jochen Streb
Professor of Economic History at the University Mannheim.
Jochen Streb received his PhD in 1996 and his habilitation in 2002, both at Heidelberg University in Economics.
His main research interests explore how innovation, the state, and institutions have historically shaped economic development – above all in Germany in the 19th and 20th centuries.
